Every business owner and #mightydeborah wants to achieve a level of success in business. We make regular decisions, change our model, spend lots of money on marketing, attend workshops, read countless inspirational quotes and do everything to #position ourselves to achieve what we set out to achieve for our business, our families, our futures and to help serve those around us.
And while all of those things are really important and I do personally engage in them, i’ve learnt in recent years that …
‘being faithful with what is in front of you’
is equally and foundationally important.

“The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!” Matthew 25:21

Our homes, families, relationships, friendships, health, peace, rest, commitment mix, and the other foundational things in our lives contribute to our headspace, and ability for us to turn up & function at our best.

In business, our time, energy and focus, commitments, relationships, partnerships, model, capacity to embrace change, and capacity to steward our attitude, perspective, calling & purpose, and relationship with God, contributes to the flow that leads to success.

Being faithful with what’s in front of us means that some days and even some seasons don’t work out how we planned, but you can be assured that you stewarded those distractions, family demands, opportunities and time well. Some of my most profound moments have been the unplanned ones!

I had to be faithful with very simple and seemingly insignificant things for many years before I saw major shifts in my world. But, when I look back, they’ve been pivotal, powerful, positioning and blessed beyond measure.

So this weekend, as you go about your downtime, become aware of what you can ease into and ‘be faithful with’ instead of fight (like school holidays), the little things that contribute to the big, and reflect on what you have been faithful with to this point, and how impactful it’s been in your life.

We believe in you!
